- Reliable Schedule: Our work schedule is from 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. We support work-life balance, therefore we provide you with clear expectations, which include no nights or weekend work.
As a Fabrication Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to put your skills to work dismantling, overhauling, repairing, fabricating, assembling, inspecting and erecting all parts of an aircraft. While this is not an exhaustive list of the responsibilities, this does provide an overall snapshot.
What Basler needs from you:
- Previous experience manufacturing simple to complex mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as drill presses, rivet and hardware presses
- Ability to read and understand blueprints/mechanical drawings
- Well rounded knowledge of sheet metal tooling, equipment, materials, and processes, strongly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and precision
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Safety conscious mindset
- Able to access elevated areas of the aircraft
- This is a physical job that requires climbing, standing, stooping, walking, working overhead, working in tight/confined spaces, and other physical job requirements
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests
- Be authorized to work in the US
