We are seeking an experienced, strong, motivated and detail oriented TIG welder/Fabricator to be part of a great and fast growing team. You will be welding aircraft parts using TIG and some MIG welding processes. The ability to operate manual machining equipment such as drill press, milling machine, lathes, and saws. Job shop experience is a plus. Essential Functions: Analyze work orders, specifications and blue prints Welds component parts for the aircraft Assembles, tacks and welds parts according to specifications. Completes assigned duties in accordance with safety policies and practices. This includes regard to individual safety, the safety of other team members and the safe use of equipment in the workplace. Wears and maintains approved personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, respirators, gloves, protective clothing, grinding shields, etc.
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass AWS D17.1 aerospace welding tests for stainless steel, steel and aluminum.
Two (2) years experience in TIG welding processes. Ability to read and understand blueprints and written instructions. Ability to read a level and tape measure and perform simple math such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Knowledge of appropriate settings of welding machines. Knowledge of general shop procedures and rules including safety precautions. Ability and willingness to cooperate with co-workers and work as part of a production team.

Physical Abilities:
This position requires you to perform a variety of physical activities such as:
- Climbing, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, sitting, working overhead, extensive walking, working in tight/confined spaces and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Handling hazardous material in performance of assigned duties
- Be able to use Personal Protective Equipment (e.g., respirators, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.)
